Features: 1 - less than 1kg in weight
2 - capable of pumping one-litre-blood within 10 minutes
Functions: 1 - act as permanent therapy in patients with severe heart failure
eg: 'dilated cardiomyopathy'
(jantung lemah, membengkak dan tidak boleh mengepam darah)
2 - to maintain a continuous flow of blood in the patient's body
3 - to improve function on the right side of the heart
